It was time for a break. A long break. So I took it. Quit my job, let my house and left for South America. Backpacking though initially only South America, eventually also through Central America after flying up to the US to visit some friends who were on holiday there. My journey kept me 2 years away from home.
The route I took through South America is the white line on the map. Click on it to enlarge.
My photos and a sort of travel log are on the following pages.
